When Stock Isn’t Enough

If your Bronco is still stock, it’s time for an upgrade. At the 2025 Great Smoky Mountain Bronco® Stampede in Pigeon Forge, the LeConte Center was transformed into a playground for anyone who refuses to settle for factory specs. First-gen classics mingled with lifted Sasquatch Editions, chopped customs, and wild builds that looked like they might break a few laws—on purpose. Every aisle was stacked with vendors showing off suspension systems, armor, lighting, audio, and off-road gear—everything needed to turn a perfectly nice stock Bronco into a beast that dominates the trail and turns heads everywhere it rolls.

Booth Crawling for the Boldest Upgrades

We hit the show floor hard, crawling the booths for the upgrades that make a Bronco truly yours. Suspension kits designed to chew up rocks, high-output lighting to cut through the darkest trails, audio systems that make every mile feel like a festival—this was the gear that separates stock from unstoppable. Some booths even had builds so over-the-top you couldn’t help but imagine them on your driveway. These were the standouts—the mods we’d jump on immediately if we wanted a Bronco that’s as capable as it is eye-catching.

Bronco Nation at Full Throttle

The Stampede wasn’t just a show—it was a community. Bronco fans and builders swapped stories, admired each other’s rides, and schemed ways to level up their own rigs. Whether your focus is off-road domination or show-stopping style, one thing was clear: a stock Bronco is only the beginning. This event proved that the Bronco lifestyle is about pushing limits, one epic build at a time.

The eTop at the Bestop Booth: Power Meets Freedom

Over at the Bestop Booth, the spotlight was on the eTop convertible power top—a Bronco upgrade that takes freedom to the next level. Forget wrestling with panels or storing bulky pieces; with just two quick latches and the push of a button, the eTop glides open or seals shut, giving you instant control no matter where the road—or trail—leads. This top doesn’t just look slick, it’s engineered for all-season performance with nine layers of insulation to keep the cabin comfortable year-round and a super-suede headliner that hushes wind noise by up to 5 dB.

The versatility doesn’t stop there. Pop out the side and rear windows for safari mode and stash them neatly in the hidden headliner pocket, roll with or without doors, and enjoy the 30% tinted glass that blends privacy with style. Triple insulation keeps harsh weather at bay, while Bestop’s craftsmanship ensures rugged durability worthy of the Bronco badge. Backed by a 3-year warranty and designed for pure convenience, the eTop proves that when it comes to open-air adventure, Bestop has it dialed in.

Kenda Tires: Grip, Guts, and Go-Anywhere Attitude

When the pavement runs out, Kenda Tires don’t blink. They’re built for the wild mix of daily commutes, muddy ruts, snow-packed trails, and wide-open desert runs. This isn’t just rubber on wheels—it’s race-tested toughness for people who actually use their rigs, not just polish them.

The KLEVER R/T KR601 is the Swiss Army knife of off-road tires—beefy enough to chew through rock and mud, yet civilized enough for a quiet ride on the highway. With its three-ply sidewall, all-weather compound, and winter stud-ready design, this tire doesn’t care if it’s blazing sun or black ice—it’s ready. And with the throwback Raised Red Letter option, it looks just as mean as it performs.

But if you’re the type who lives for the deep stuff—mud pits, rocky climbs, and off-camber trails—the KLEVER M/T KR29 is your weapon. With self-cleaning tread that spits out rocks and mud like sunflower seeds, reinforced sidewalls that claw into anything, and a cut-resistant compound built to take a beating, the KR29 is pure attitude on wheels. Point it where you want to go, and it’ll get you there—even if there isn’t a road.

1979 Ford Bronco “Freestyling” at the Hankook Booth

Gregory’s Custom Broncos turned back the clock and cranked up the volume with “Freestyling,” a 1979 Ford Bronco that oozes retro cool while packing modern muscle. The bold throwback paint scheme pops under the lights, but it’s the hardware that really makes this rig sing: a thunderous 502 Big Block Ford, 20×12 Weld Offroad Gradient wheels, and towering 37×13.50 Hankook Dynapro XT RC10 tires. Those tires are the real stars here—purpose-built to tackle mud, snow, and rocky trails with their aggressive tread, yet refined enough to keep highway cruising smooth and quiet. With a 3PMSF severe-snow rating, ProMileage durability tech, and a 50,000-mile warranty, the Dynapro XT RC10 proves it’s more than just looks—it’s a tire that backs up the Bronco’s brawny stance with true go-anywhere confidence. mpower® Lighting – Built for Real Adventures

At the mpower® booth, it wasn’t just the lights that stood out—it was the story behind them. mpower builds lighting for people who actually use their Broncos off-road, with indestructible silicone lenses that won’t crack, scratch, or yellow. Bright, reliable, and easy to install, these lights keep you covered whether you’re climbing mountains, slinging mud, or blasting across snowy fields.

On display was the Farmgirl Ferrari, Shaundra Olson’s pink Bronco, rocking mpower’s Interior Windshield LED Lightbar. Sleek, quiet, and insanely bright, it mounts inside the cab to cut wind noise and lights up the trail with ease.

But the Bronco itself stole hearts too. Picked up after a tough chapter in life, the Farmgirl Ferrari became a symbol of fun, family, and community for Shaundra and her three daughters. Pink, proud, and full of meaning—it’s more than just a rig.

Quake LED – Light the Night Like You Mean It

If mpower is the quiet, surgical side of lighting, Quake LED is the loud, kick-the-door-down cousin that wants to turn midnight into high noon. These guys aren’t just selling lights—they’re building a full-on arsenal of off-road illumination for anyone who likes their rigs dirty and their trails pitch black. Flood, spot, combo—pick your poison. From skinny pods to full-width light bars, they’ve got every shape, size, and beam pattern you could dream up, all at prices that won’t make you cry when you inevitably smash a branch into one.

The best part? Quake’s crew actually wheels their own stuff. They’re not sitting in a boardroom guessing what you need—they’re testing these lights on their own rigs every weekend. That real-world abuse shows in their products. Everything’s built tough, stupid bright, and engineered with the kind of optical voodoo that makes even the nastiest backwoods trail feel like a lit-up runway. Whether you’re bombing dunes, crawling rocks, or just flexing in the grocery store parking lot, Quake LED gives you lighting that looks mean and works even meaner.

Bottom line: Quake LED doesn’t just want you to see better—they want you to own the night. And in a sea of generic lighting brands, that attitude hits like a full beam to the face.

Rancho – Over 65 Years of Off-Road Innovation

If you’ve been around trucks and Jeeps for any length of time, you’ve heard the name Rancho®. What started back in 1955 as a small Jeep parts shop in Southern California has grown into one of the most trusted names in suspension. Clarence Shook and his family weren’t just selling parts—they were inventing solutions. From early V8 conversion kits and beefed-up brakes to the legendary RS5000 shock in the ’80s, Rancho has always been about pushing rigs further down the trail.

Through the decades, Rancho kept raising the bar with firsts: the RS9000 adjustable shock, the award-winning quickLIFT® systems, and a catalog stacked with products that let Jeep, truck, and SUV owners dial in the exact balance of ride comfort and trail toughness they want. Whether it’s crawling rocks, bombing across the desert, or just making the commute feel solid, Rancho built its name on real-world performance.

Today, with over 65 years of innovation behind them, Rancho is still delivering suspension systems, shocks, and accessories that make off-roaders confident on any terrain. From quickLIFT Loaded assemblies that come ready to bolt in, to their modern RS7MT monotube shocks, Rancho continues to set the standard. Simply put: if you’re building a rig to go places, Rancho’s been there—and they’ve already engineered the gear to get you through.

RealTruck – Redefining the Aftermarket Game

RealTruck isn’t just a name—it’s the powerhouse behind some of the biggest truck, Jeep®, and Bronco® upgrades on the planet. Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with over 5,000 team members across 27 facilities worldwide, RealTruck has built an empire of parts that protect, customize, and flat-out transform your ride. From Husky Liners to a massive portfolio of brands and over 1,000 patents, they’ve carved their spot at the top of the aftermarket game.

At the show, RealTruck was wheeling and dealing with Broncos front and center, showing off their latest gear and making it clear their parts aren’t just for catalog photos—they’re built to sell, built to use, and built to last. Whether you’re shopping online at RealTruck.com, working with one of their 12,000+ dealers, or bolting on parts through an OEM partnership, the mission stays the same—deliver innovation, protection, and style to every enthusiast who refuses to leave their rig stock. With that kind of reach, RealTruck isn’t just leading the industry—they’re redefining it.

Rough Country’s Red Hot Bronco

If you were anywhere near the Rough Country booth, chances are that red Ford Bronco stopped you in your tracks. This thing sat high, looked mean, and had just enough bolt-on hardware to make you start scheming about your own Bronco build before you even left the show. RC’s suspension upgrades gave it the right altitude, while their armor—bumpers, mounts, and accessories—made it clear this wasn’t just a mall crawler.

The beauty of it? Nothing felt out of reach. Rough Country built its name on parts that regular guys can actually afford and install in a weekend without calling in a favor from the neighbor’s machine shop. That’s why this Bronco worked so well—it looked custom without being untouchable.

From lift kits that clear massive rubber to lighting, wheels, and clever details like power steps, Rough Country has made a career out of giving everyday off-roaders a fighting chance at building something that turns heads and kicks dirt at the same time. If this red beast was meant to be a billboard, mission accomplished—it sold the dream without needing a sales pitch.

Outfitted with race-grade suspension, trail armor, and their slick upgraded third brake light, this Bronco was ready for anything—rocks, sand, or the grocery run. They weren’t just displaying parts; they were wheeling, dealing, and showing enthusiasts exactly how their products transform a Bronco into a trail weapon.

Founded by Cole McMath, whose family has been in the offroad parts game for generations, Turn Offroad is more than a brand—it’s a culture. Every product goes through 3D scanning, prototyping, installs, and brutal real-world testing across trails in California, Utah, and Arizona before it hits the shelf. Skyjacker Suspensions – Caleb Townsend’s ’78 Bronco XLT “Blue Ox”

Over at the Skyjacker Suspensions Booth, one Bronco had us stopping to stare—Caleb Townsend’s 1978 Ford Bronco XLT. Draped in a flawless two-tone blue-on-blue paint job with a matching interior, this second-gen Bronco looks factory fresh at first glance, but the upgrades tell a different story. Under the hood sits a stout 460 V8 pumping out 400hp and 530 lb-ft of torque, paired with a C6 transmission built by Charles Toby Cunningham of Cunningham Motorworks. The paint and bodywork, laid down by Aaron Lovejoy at Steele Ridge Restorations, highlight every curve of this classic beast.

Of course, the stance comes courtesy of a Skyjacker 6-inch lift with M95 series shocks, giving it the clearance to roll on 37-inch Interco Iroks wrapped around Western Bullet wheels reworked by Bent Wheel Solutions. Inside, the Bronco’s fitted with FreeWheelin Bronco seat covers, headliner, and custom interior panels, while up top sits a vintage KC HiLiTES roof bar with seven 6x9s, a nod to classic off-road style. It’s the perfect blend of old-school swagger and modern upgrades—proving once again that with Skyjacker under it, a Bronco doesn’t just sit higher, it stands taller.
