PLYMOUTH ROCKS!
For the most part, automotive enthusiasts tend to display a degree of loyalty to their brand of choice. It’s rare to find someone who has equal parts Ford and Chevy in the garage; most owners tend to favor one or the other. Mopar fans, though, typically take the concept of brand loyalty to a whole new level. Those who don’t own Mopars tend to think of Mopar owners as something of a cult. Is it a fair comparison? Well, the verdict could go either way, but we can think of worse obsessions to have.

Survivor Status: The 1958 Impala That Defies Time
Nineteen fifty-eight was certainly a year of change for our nation with the formation of NASA and the launching of the United States’ first spacecraft, Explorer I. This was also a year of jet power, as Douglas introduced the DC-8 that year shortly after Boeing’s 707 went into regular service, offering transatlantic flights between New York and Europe. In addition, Elvis began his service in the U.S. Army.

Lost & Found
There are many reasons why the icon cars have achieved the lofty status they now enjoy, but one of the more obvious reasons is the simple fact that they were finished. Their existence and subsequent high-level exposure have inspired many a young lad to undertake similar projects, and for every famous car built in the early years, probably two others were started in an attempt to either copy or outdo it, but they never saw the light of day.

SEMA Show 2023 at the Las Vegas Convention Center was an epic blast, packed with the latest and greatest from the automotive performance world. Over 2,100 exhibitors brought their A-game, and the crowd—about 150,000 strong—was buzzing with excitement. It was the ultimate playground for gearheads and industry insiders, showcasing cutting-edge performance products, jaw-dropping vehicle trends, and killer educational sessions from the top minds in the biz.
