CIMTEX RODS SUPER CAMEO: PART 8
In part seven of our Cimtex Rods Super Cameo Buildup series, we covered the installation of our Stainless Works four-tube ZR1 headers and Cimtex Rods-fabricated 3-inch custom exhaust system, as well as the fabrication and installation of our Cimtex Rods-constructed 22-gallon fuel tank and the accompanying MagnaFuel fuel system. Now we’re going to cover the mockup of our Powerdyne BD-11A SilentDrive twin supercharger system. But first let’s digress and take a look at the big picture. One of the key criterion in our Cimtex Rods Super Cameo buildup was to elicit that all-important “wow” factor throughout the entire series. When it came to the engine, we didn’t want to install just any old run-of-the-mill, multi-carbureted GM small or big block, much less a late-model GM crate engine straight out of the catalog. Going in we figured that the Cimtex Super Cameo powerplant should be something special.

CAMARO MAN
If you ask car enthusiasts to identify their favorite ’60s Chevy, most will say a Camaro. If you want a more specific answer, you probably will get mixed responses between the ’67-’68 models and the ’69. Troy Leiphart is one of those enthusiasts who like the early models, because they are smoother looking than the ’69 and look meaner when done right. That love affair with ’68 Camaros started when he was a kid. His older brother Ernie owned a maroon ’68, and Leiphart thought it was the coolest car around. After awhile, money got tight for Ernie, so Leiphart purchased the car from his brother. Leiphart drove the cool Camaro with much pride, fixed it up and spent time at the drag races, where the car did well. Eventually the engine blew and he couldn’t afford to fix it, so he sold the car back to his brother.

GOODGUYS COLUMBUS 2007
Over the last several years, the Goodguys PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, has established itself as one of the nation’s premier hot rodding events. This event, along with the Detroit Autorama and a few others, has proven to be one of the main events at which builders choose to debut new cars, and trophies are as hotly contested here as at any show in the country. But Columbus is about more than just trophies—it’s about bringing your own car, no matter what kind of shape it’s in, to hang out with the owners of the other 6,000 vehicles that will be there, and to have fun at Goodguys’ premier event.

Whether you’re running stock injectors or pushing massive 300cc setups, the Adrenaline is a bolt-on powerhouse designed to boost your truck’s pulling capability, fuel economy, startup performance, and horsepower across the board. Even factory-tuned engines feel the difference.
Built for Power. Engineered for Longevity.
This isn’t just a replacement pump—it’s a performance solution. Each Adrenaline unit features custom internals and upgraded design components to deliver maximum output from a single housing, while enhancing durability over the stock pump. Unlike factory cast aluminum housings—known for common failures like internal cavitation, gear breakdowns, and cracking—DIESELSITE’s exclusive billet housing eliminates those weaknesses with precision-machined strength.
No Guesswork. Every Pump Tested.
Every Adrenaline pump undergoes strict flow-rate testing before it ever leaves the shop—no exceptions, no compromises. It’s this attention to detail that gives users peace of mind, whether they’re on the work site or the drag strip.
